Focus and Scope
Selidik Journal focuses on scientific studies or scientific research in the field of religious education which is useful for the public, policy actors, and education practitioners. While the scope of the Selidik Journal covers the field of education, teaching, learning, evaluation, measurement, education management, organizational management, educational psychology, and learning technology. Therefore, every article or manuscript published in Selidik Journal must follow the reference below:
1. Have a strong and clear theoretical framework.
2. Have clear literature that correlates with the research topic discuss.
3. Have a clear and precise design and analysis.
4. Provide recommendations for further practical policy in the field of religious education
Jurnal Selidik berfokus pada kajian ilmiah atau riset ilmiah di bidang pendidikan keagamaan yang berguna bagi masyarakat, pelaku kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan. Sedangkan ruang lingkup jurnal Selidik mencakupi bidang pendidikan, pengajaran, pembelajaran, evaluasi, pengukuran, manajemen pendidikan, manajemen organisasi, psikologi pendidikan, dan teknologi pembelajaran. Karena itu, setiap artikel atau manuskrip yang diterbitkan di Jurnal Selidik mengikuti rujukan berikut:
1. Memiliki kerangka teori yang kuat dan jelas.
2. Memiliki literatur yang jelas dan berkorelasi dengan topik penelitian yang dibahas.
3. Memiliki rancangan dan analisis yang tepat dan jelas.
4. Memberikan rekomendasi terhadap kebijakan praktis lebih lanjut di bidang pendidikan keagamaan

Peer Review Process
Article or manuscript submitted will be evaluated by the editor to determine the matching of the Selidik Journal criteria. Article or manuscript will be rejected without review if not match the journal criteria requirement. Article or manuscript that is evaluated and considered potentially attractive to the reader will be sent to the reviewer for a review process (Double-Blind). Based on the result of the review, the editor-in-chief then makes a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation to reject the article or manuscript with a level of improvement above 50%. The editor-in-chief of the Selidik Journal has the right to decide which manuscript to be published in this journal.
The following is the process of reviewing articles or manuscripts in the Selidik Journal.
a. Authors submit articles or journal manuscripts;
b. Evaluation by an editor;
c. Double-Blind peer review process;
d. Editor's Decision;
e. Confirm to the author.
Artikel atau manuskrip yang dikirim akan dievaluasi oleh editor untuk menentukan apakah sesuai dengan kriteria Jurnal Selidik. Artikel atau manuskrip akan ditolak tanpa ditinjau apabila tidak memenuhi syarat kriteria jurnal. Artikel atau manuskrip yang dievaluasi dan dinilai berpotensi menarik bagi pembaca akan dikirim ke reviewer untuk dilakukan proses review (Double-Blind). Berdasarkan hasil review, pimpinan redaksi kemudian membuat keputusan berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer untuk menolak artikel atau manuskrip yang tingkat perbaikannya di atas 50%. Pimpinan redaksi Jurnal Selidik berhak memutuskan manuskrip mana yang akan diterbitkan di Jurnal Selidik.
Berikut adalah proses review artikel atau manuskrip di Jurnal Selidik.
a. Penulis mengirimkan artikel atau manuskrip jurnal;
b. Evaluasi oleh editor;
c. Proses peer review Double-Blind;
d. Keputusan Editor;
e. Konfirmasi kepada penulis.

Publication Ethics
Author submitting article must observe the following ethical standard for publication
1. The author must guarantee that the manuscript is completely original.
2. Regarding another source in the article or manuscript in the form of a citation, it must be written correctly and accurately in accordance with the standard of writing a scientific paper. This is to ensure recognition of other researchers’ work.
3. Author is prohibited from submitting manuscripts of the same articles or essentially the same research outside the Selidik Journal. It is unethical to include the same article in two or more journals.
4. The main author is everybody who makes a real and important contribution in terms of the concept, plan, implementation, or interpretation of the reported research study. Other authors involved in research activities such as research assistants are identified as contributors.
5. If the research is funded by a particular institution, it is necessary to mention the source of the cost.
Penulis yang mengirimkan artikel harus memperhatikan standar etika publikasi berikut ini
1. Penulis harus menjamin bahwa naskah tersebut sepenuhnya asli.
2. Apabila menyertakan sumber lain dalam artikel atau manuskrip dalam bentuk kutipan harus ditulis dengan benar dan tepat sesuai dengan standar penulisan karya ilmiah. Hal ini untuk menjamin pengakuan terhadap karya orang lain.
3. Penulis dilarang menyerahkan naskah artikel yang sama atau intinya penelitian sama di luar Jurnal Selidik. Tidak etis untuk memasukkan artikel yang sama ke dalam dua jurnal atau lebih.
4. Penulis utama adalah orang yang memberikan kontribusi nyata dan penting dalam hal konsep, rencana, pelaksanaan, atau interpretasi kajian penelitian yang dilaporkan. Penulis lain yang terlibat dalam kegiatan penelitian seperti asisten peneliti disebut sebagai kontributor.
5. Apabila penelitian dibiayai oleh lembaga tertentu maka perlu disebutkan sumber biayanya.

Open Access Statement
The Selidik Journal provide direct and open access to all published research article thus supporting the global transfer of knowledge. This means:
1. Anyone has free access to the full text of all articles published in the Selidik Journal;
2. The Selidik Journal provides benefit to the wider community and can increase the research profile of the author;
3. Access to publication in the Selidik Journal is open and supported by writing institutions or research funding institutions with the payment of a free Article Processing Fee (APC) for articles received and published.
4. Anyone can ask the original copyright holder (usually the original publisher or author) whether the article in the Selidik Journal can be used for further research development or not.
Jurnal Selidik menyediakan akses langsung dan terbuka untuk semua artikel penelitian yang dipublikasikan sehingga mendukung transfer pengetahuan secara global. Hal ini berarti:
1. Siapapun memiliki akses gratis ke teks lengkap dari semua artikel yang diterbitkan dalam Jurnal Selidik;
2. Jurnal Selidik memberikan kemanfaatan bagi masyarakat luas dan dapat meningkatkan profil penelitian dari penulis;
3. Akses publikasi di Jurnal Selidik bersifat terbuka dan didukung oleh lembaga penulis atau lembaga pendanaan penelitian dengan pembayaran Biaya Pemrosesan Artikel (APC) gratis untuk artikel yang diterima dan dipublikasikan.
4. Siapapun dapat bertanya kepada pemegang hak cipta asli (biasanya penerbit atau penulis asli), apakah artikel di Jurnal Selidik dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan penelitian lanjutan atau tidak.

Plagiarism and Retraction
The Selidik Journal is using "Turnitin" to check the plagiarism level of the journal articles. If there is an indication of plagiarism of more than 30%, then the article or manuscript is rejected immediately.
Jurnal Selidik melakukan pemeriksaan tingkat plagiat artikel jurnal dengan menggunakan "Turnitin". Jika ada indikasi plagiasi lebih dari 30%, maka artikel atau manuskrip langsung ditolak.

Copyright and License
The author holds the copyright and gives the Selidik Journal rights as follows.
1. Right of first publication.
2. The right to publish, distribute, use articles in electronic and printed editions of the Journal.
3. The right to create and keep an electronic archive copy of the article, including the right to store it in an open-access digital repository.
In relation to the dissemination of the research product, the Selidik Journal has a license under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike 4.0 International License..
Penulis memegang hak cipta dan memberikan hak-hak kepada Jurnal Selidik sebagai berikut.
1. Hak publikasi pertama.
2. Hak untuk menerbitkan, mendistribusikan, menggunakan artikel di Jurnal edisi elektronik dan cetak.
3. Hak untuk membuat dan menyimpan salinan arsip elektronik dari artikel tersebut, termasuk hak untuk menyimpannya di repository digital akses terbuka.
Dalam penyebarluasan hasil ciptaan (produk penelitian pendidikan keagamaan) di Jurnal Selidik memiliki lisensi di bawah Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 International License.
